Let Me Introduce Myself...
Personal Training isn't just a career to me, it's a lifestyle. Being fitness driven since childhood and someone who really enjoys working out, exercise has always played a significant role in my life. It allows me to have the strength and stamina to do what I love: competitive and leisure horseback riding, maintaining a small ranch, enjoying outdoor fitness adventures...simply LIVING LIFE! But that doesn't mean it's always easy for me and it's not always fun. Truth is, most days it's not. Time to get REAL! I've struggled with depression and anxiety most of my life. I sometimes struggle with an unhealthy relationship with food. I experience chronic pain from scoliosis and arthritis. And I was recently diagnosed with multiple autoimmune diseases that cause overwhelming fatigue & pain and threaten my physical longevity. None of these are EASY to handle! And ALL make most days difficult and workouts very challenging. But we can play victim or we can FIGHT! If not for ourselves, we can fight to be our best for others. That's where FITNESS and healthy living comes in and why I am so passionate about my career. They give us the FIGHT we need to live our best lives, to be our BEST selves! Unable to tolerate medications, good nutrition and regular exercise have been my Rx. My doctors say I would not be functioning well without BOTH. I would not be able to truly enjoy living an ACTIVE life. In other words, it's quite literally saving my life (and sanity!)
Bottom line, it's not always about looking good, it's about feeling better than we do...feeling the best we can based on our circumstance. I'm still learning as I go but I promise you nutrition can help and HURT you if you don't do it right. The same goes for exercise. That's where my personal training services come in. It's more than just book knowledge from multiple certifications and years of experience with a very diverse clientele, I share what I'm learning from my own everyday struggles and my own poor body mechanics, hoping you can benefit from my personal trials and errors.
